Syllable Plus Board Game
(Grades 1 and up)
Syllable Plus teaches students to identify
six basic syllable types in monosyllabic and polysyllabic words, as well
as a seventh group of irregular patterns, the Plus category. Students
sort syllable cards into appropriate categories, which are listed on a
guide strip. The definitions of the seven categories of syllables are
provided and instructional steps are carefully outlined.
