Roots Computer Software
(Grades 6 and up)
Roots is designed as a reinforcement program
for students who need direct instruction for reading, spelling and vocabulary
development. The 96 word roots have been separated into fourteen manageable,
meaning-related games. The meaning of each root and three sample words
are provided within each game. This program includes on-screen practices
and quizzes for the student as well as a student management program. Students
can save and/or print out scores. The teacher may view and/or print student
results. A Teacher's Manual with a list of roots is provided. Roots
is cross-referenced with VAK

ON-SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT
An On-Site License Agreement will be issued for Macintosh computer
programs for users who wish to place the programs on network systems.
Upon the purchase of the original program/s at regular cost, the program/s
may be installed on additional computers in the same educational setting
at the cost of $20.00 per computer. A contract will be issued stating
the computer program and number of computers with a copy for the purchaser
and a copy for the seller to be kept on file. See each computer program
for price. Additional copies of IBM and other software computer programs
may be purchased at $20.00 upon the purchase of the original program/s.
