Essential Prefixes Computer Software
(Grades 9 - Adult)
Essential Prefixes is designed as a reinforcement program providing additional practice for students who need direct instruction for reading, spelling and vocabulary development. The 130 prefixes are grouped into two sets: ten sets by level of common use to less frequent use and eight sets by patterns and meanings called Chameleon Prefix Families. The prefix and its meaning along with three sample words incorporating the prefix is provided within each of the ten sets. This program includes on-screen practices and quizzes for the student as well as a student management program. Students can save and/or print out their scores. The teacher may view and/or print student results. A Teacher's Manual with a list of Essential Prefixes is included. This program is cross-referenced with Essential Prefixes Word Book, Essential Prefixes Workbook, Essential Prefixes Workbook Teacher's Manual, Essential Prefixes Practice Cards; Advanced Syllable Plus Computer Program; and Advanced Syllable Plus Board Game. On-Site License Agreements are available.
