The Series of Essential Language Structures
The Series of Essential Language
Structures is a program designed for students and adults who are not
learning or have not learned to read, write and spell despite adequate
intelligence and classroom instruction. This Series is based upon the
logic and structure of American English language. It may be used as part
of a classroom curriculum, as part of a special education program or as
part of a tutorial program. It is essential that teachers analyze errors,
and if a student hasn't mastered a previous concept, the teacher must
chain back and teach that which has not been learned.
The SERIES OF ESSENTIAL LANGUAGE STRUCTURES presented
in this catalog was developed for students who have not learned by the
traditional method of instruction which has been the use of the auditory
and visual channels of learning. The authors include the seldom used learning
pathway - tactile-kinesthetic - with the auditory and visual channels
of learning. It is through experience and research that these materials
were carefully developed.
